Dr. B. K. Mutha

A clinician par excellence, Dr. B. K. Mutha has a vast experience in the field of respiratory medicine and is practicing as a leading chest physician in Nashik since 1981. He is instrumental in establishing and flourishing this branch. He is an exhaustive reader, an excellent clinician, and a great teacher.

He has done his medical schooling from B.J. Medical College, Pune, and completed his doctorate in medicine (MD) in 1981. He has been conferred with the Fellowship of the American College Of Physicians (FCCP). He started his practice in Nashik in 1981 and has developed this institute into one of the best pulmonology centers in Nashik.

He was instrumental in initiating many facilities in Nashik like Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT), Bronchoscopy, Sleep Study, and Non-Invasive Ventilator services—making the hospital one of the first to offer such diagnostic and treatment options for lung diseases in Nashik.

He also has a keen interest in clinical research and has been involved in various trials on Asthma and COPD, two of the most common chronic respiratory conditions.

He has been a board member of various medical associations. He is also a Professor and Head of the Department of Pulmonary Medicine at MVP Medical College, Nashik, and a Postgraduate guide and examiner.
